Erica Taylor is a graphic designer for a game developer, which in today's world is code for 'AI artist babysitter.' But on the way to a convention she spots a broken down bus under attack from Antithesis, and with no weapon available but her car, the part of her that always wanted to be a hero decides to intervene. Now she's been selected to become a Samurai, a warrior entrusted with defending humanity from Antithesis by the enigmatic Protectors, but she's also been stranded several days walk from the nearest town with nothing but a ruined cosplay outfit. Worse yet, the nearest town has an Antithesis infestation festering just beneath the surface, readying to devour it whole. Fighting her way in is only going to be the beginning. RavensDagger created a very fun and interesting world and my desire to write a story set in it rekindled my interest in writing. I cannot recommend it enough.
