Over five-thousand years before the return of Alduin and the events of Skyrim, dragons and the dragon cult rule the land and the people of Atmora suffer under their voice. In the life of young Asha, there is little she knows outside her home, Shriekwind Bastion, or the surrounding forests. The dragon priest rule, her Intended, Wulfin, is chosen for her, and her path is set. But when the wild and violent Reachmen disrupt her life, the world opens up before her in unexpected ways.  From the famous hall of Jorrvaskr where the companions live strong, to the mighty capital of Bromjunaar where the dragon priests rule absolute, Asha will see the world with all its dangers and wonders. Beneath it all, rebellion begins to stir in the hearts of the people. The oppression of the Atmoran's under the dragon cult can only be suffered so long before it explodes into war.  Asha will soon be faced with a choice, one of epic proportion and as great as the tales of her forefathers. She must choose too act against the tyranny of her world or suffer under its power for the rest of her life. And if she does act against it, she must face the wrath of the greatest beings on Mundus; the dragons.  Skyrim: The Dragon War is a trilogy about the ancient story of the Nords' rise from slavery under the dragons. Set in the ancient world of Skyrim, familiar ruins from the game will be bustling cities or fortresses and the dragon cult will rule. This project was researched to the best of my ability using sources from the game of Skyrim, YouTubers, and lore hinted at by the game developers. The rest is entirely fictional and is not canon. If something is off in the lore and you spot it, it was either done purposefully for the sake of the story (IE changing the look and feel of cities which are entirely too small in Skyrim) or because you are a wiser bard than I am.
