The planet was shattered, once. Now, atop the flying pieces of land known as skylands, breaks out an all-out war between the nations of the World Rings. The clouds are set as the battlefield’s terrain, while the military airships await their glorious entrance, powered by magic crystals capable of defying gravity itself.  It’s in this turmoil that a thieving girl masquerading as an urchin boy, a failed aristocrat now loyal to the underworld, and the mysterious captain of the Sky Rider pirate crew, all partake in changing the worldwide course of action, each one utilizing powers of unknown origin.
