Edward, an ordinary young adult, was just concluding his lesson as a HEMA instructor, when he and his students were suddenly transmigrated to a whole new world. After a lengthy discussion, he agrees to play along and offer the support this new world needs from them… only to learn that he possesses no magic and to get sidelined. One person took pity on him, however, and so he began his journey into the Frontier, one of the most dangerous places in this world. There, he plans to prove swordsmanship and proper tactics are worth more than magic-induced skills, while helping make this remote region he now lives in one of the most powerful in the realm and slowly taking his revenge. During his time in the new world, he gradually gathers allies to support him in his quest. Thanks to them, he gradually starts to understand the common sense, logic and mentality of this new strange world and better adapt to it. He learns how to use this world against itself, proving his earlier point that individual skill and good tactics can help him overcome most trials thrown at him. Meanwhile, his students, each isolated from the others, continue training and bettering themselves to impress their teacher the next time they meet. They each gradually learn their new powers and find their own spot in this world, as they all prepare for the ultimate peril looming over this world, the demon army invasion expected to happen within the next few years.
