It is the year 199 AD. The forces of Cao Cao and Liu Bei had launched an invasion of a rival warlord, Lu Bu. Gao Xing, the son of Gao Shun, an officer under Lu Bu, has reached the age of fifteen, and was eager to join his father in serving their lord. His father gives him his first mission. To escort their lord's daughter, Lu Lingqi, to Yuan Shu, in hopes that they can make an alliance and help them defeat Cao Cao and Liu Bei.
