The Crystal Kingdom is one of eight kingdoms in a place called Syre. It is based in a medival-fantasy land with horses, knights, kngs/queens/princes/princesses. This four-part section is mainly about a princess named Zerra during her coming-on-age; though the second half slowly builds toward the story in the full novel. Many of the characters within the short story appear in the full novel I wrote and published this year. I am the author/owner of this story. This is the 4 part prologue offshoot to my book Awakening (Crystals of Syre, book 1). It is 16,610 words long. The setting (this 4-part prologue) is eight years before the rest of the book and works as a seperate short story--hence why I am adding it here. The entire book is 211,798 (prologue plus 52 chapters long). I loved writing this book and want it to be seen by a wider audience. Therefore, I'm giving the prologue to the Royal Roads community to give a look-see. I think you will enjoy even this 4-part section of the entire book.
