Shiori the mage and her partner known as "Knight" were able to find a ring that they were tasked to find by a leader from the kingdom. Being attacked relentlessly by monsters from the dungeon, Knight gave the ring to Shiori to attempt to use its power against the monsters. Shiori succeeds in using the ring's power to obliterate their enemies, but soon finds out that the ring was indeed cursed. Shiori and Knight make their way back to the kingdom with the stupid idea of trying to conquer the world (because of the vote some impressionable novelites lol) but soon finds out that they have a bigger problem in the form of the cursed ring trying to take over her body and unleash its wrath upon the world. A pair of oversized cats, Salt and Pepper, Nyakuzas as they were—Shiori's organization, also dressed the part, meets them and advises Shiori that they need to take the ring off of her. They also claim that they know of the ring's origins, and even how to destroy it. (This is my continuation for this #ShiorinStories so far)
