Such was Hell, and yet it was his home until one day a mysterious old man tore him from the midst of battle and ported him to the Overworld. Him! Shieldfather! A Varian Lord of Tartarus! Shieldfather awakened to a cold sun on a crab-infested beach, freezing, naked, and robbed of who he’d been. Lost among a people ignorant to his great deeds, he knew that to return home was the only way forward, yet how did one go about going to Hell without committing a mortal sin?  Shieldfather could not accept anything less than a righteous way.
