A lifetime ago, the Old World ended in blood and fire and terrible cold starlight as the reality-eating Wyrd washed over the tidally locked moon of Ruvera. Most of the inhabitants died, but a few found shelter in the islands of the treacherous Shattered Sea, or else threw themselves on the dubious mercy of the ancient draconic race. Now, six hundred and thirty-six cycles later, Adeena Yassin, a tired and jaded mercenary captain of once-some-renown, finds herself desperate enough to sign up to an expedition heading deeper than ever before into the broken remains of the Old World. It should be simple: into the Wyrdwastes, grab some treasure and artefacts and whatnot, and then out again before the Long Night falls. That’s the theory, at least. However, she soon finds herself a pawn in deadly political game, and in the background powerful forces vie to change the trajectory of Ruvera’s history. Shattered Moon is an adventure tale set on a fantasy moon filled with toltalitarian dragons, libertarian demons, eldritch terrors from beyond the stars, and anarcho-syndicalist fey.
