The old gods are dead, having sealed away the titans with their finals breath. All the beasts of legends, cyclops, harpies, minotaurs have overtaken the world. Humanity holds out only in three cities, unable to venture out from beyond the protection of their walls. The only one's who can fight back against the monsters are the Blessed, people who have been chosen for a dangerous trial that takes them through monster infested lands. Caeus, a member of the lower class city of Erebus is the first member of Erebus to ever be chosen for the trial, but he is stuck outside of the walls with people who have been training their whole lives for this trial.
