Synopsis
Sometimes, Georgina has vivid dreams that leave her unsettled and disoriented upon waking up. The dreams started soon after her mother and brother died in a rock climbing accident. Two years have passed, and while the dreams still haunt her, they come less often. She’s learned to cope by creating a structured, predictable routine that offers her some peace. She spends her days attending classes at Peri Grove University, assisting her father at his coffee shop just off campus and avoiding her ex-boyfriend who she broke up with and didn’t give a proper explanation. But she is determined to move forward no matter what.
Leilah is Georgina’s cousin, and they have been inseparable since they were ten years old. They’ve always supported each other and been there for one another. But since the accident, they have drifted apart a little, and Leilah has found herself drawn to books about the occult, her curiosity sparked by the unsettling feeling that she has a connection to these mystical forces, though she can’t quite grasp their true nature.
As they embark on their own paths, their relationship goes through changes that shape their journeys as well as their relationship with each other.
