Synopsis
In a world ravaged by war between humans and demons, the latter are feared as heartless beasts. During a raid on a human stronghold, the demon general, Kairon, uncovers a secret dungeon where a broken and battered young woman, Lira, is imprisoned. Lira is barely alive—her body covered in scars, her voice reduced to incoherent murmurs, and her fear paralyzing her at every raised hand.
Kairon, known for his brutal strength and dark magic, is unexpectedly drawn to her fragility. He rescues her, taking her into his care despite knowing the dangers it will bring. As he shields her from the world that hunts them both, Lira’s slow recovery from trauma begins. However, her heart remains deeply scarred, and Kairon finds himself not only fighting human hunters but also the emotional battles within Lira’s soul.
Amidst a world of prejudice and cruelty, their bond deepens. Kairon, once feared as a monster, shows Lira kindness and teaches her to survive. As their fates entwine, they realize that love, though delicate, can blossom even in the darkest of times—if only they can survive the forces tearing them apart.
