Ralph didn't go through the Portal with his cellmate, David.  He instead went back to sleep.  David Rossmore, a criminal accountant with a head for numbers, spent a decade in the magical world of Azen.  He became Davros the Red... A Legendary Archmage who fought for the Kingdom of Aze in countless wars against their enemies.  At the peak of his power, Davros sought to bring balance to the world, but that didn't work for the Kingdom.  So they sent him back through the portal. He's back in his jail cell, but he's in trouble...   David's body is rapidly losing its magic, and he's close to death.  This story isn't about David Rossmore, or Davros the Red.  It's about Ralph.
