Nick was summoned to another world as the Hero of Light. However, he had no intentions of being a Hero of any kind. His only goal was to get back to his wife and kids and he will do whatever it takes to do so. Accidentally killing his guide to this world not long after he arrives, Nick is marked and becomes the enemy of the church that summoned him as their hero. Now he must learn to survive in this cursed land he finds himself in without his guide. Although he quickly finds that death is impossible to avoid and madness is around every corner.
