In the year 2022, a virus of unknown origin dubbed Seraphim had spread across the Earth. Scott Gavin is a young man afflicted with the virus but somehow immune to its effects, and he is placed in cryogenic suspense in the hope that his immunity could eventually lead to a cure. Years later, Scott awaken to find the world he knew destroyed. Meanwhile, Danica Johansson is a beautiful young woman and a hardened soldier struggling with severe personal demons and looking for a permanent way out. Hostilities between these very different people are evident, until a shared need to survive grows into a close bond that soon evolves into a mutual attraction.
