Daryl as far as he’s known has always been surrounded by the never-ending darkness. His parents and everyone around him abuse him almost to the brink of death. Then one day he is given an opportunity to break out of the darkness and seize the light for himself. But not before learning that the world doesn’t revolve around him and that the various forces don’t always allow Daryl to do as he wished. A story with unique power systems, character progressions. A good story (attempted) reinforced by complex side and main characters. Contains action, adventure, mystery. tragedy, psychological challenges, scheming/mind battles and even a bit of philosophical stuff, romance (don’t read it for the romance..) and horror all in a low fantasy setting
