Dymira didn't believe that she did anything wrong in trying to save her brother.  Unfortunately, the law had other ideas and she was sent on a one-way trip to an uninhabited island with a bunch of other criminals.  To her surprise she meets a man on board who doesn't appear to be a sailor, guard, or criminal, making his presence on the ship an enigma.  But when they reach the island, she sees nothing of him, furthering the mystery.  She won't have time to worry about him though, since she, and the other criminals, have to learn to get along with each other in the name of survival.  [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]
