Early in the morning at Yuguretaka Private High school, Ryo would be lying on the bottom bunk of his bed, opening his eyes slowly as his alarm quietly went off.
“Hey… Tamaki-San, I thought I told you to stop with your alarm, school doesn’t start for another three hours…” A young japanese boy with messy black hair and black eyes. Ryo sighed, putting on a black t-shirt. He’d put on his Real Madrid tracksuit. He grabbed his headphones, wallet, and phone, putting them in his pockets.
”Why don’t you ever wear the teams tracksuit…?” The boy asked. TSUNEO KAWASAKI, 18, Centre Back, 184cm, Yuguretaka Private High-school Soccer Team. Ryo sighed,
“Cause, I think it looks ugly… I’ll wear it to tournaments, I just prefer how this one looks…” Ryo said. Tsuneo nodded,
“Need anything from the store…?” Ryo asked. Tsuneo nodded,
“Earplugs…” Tsuneo said. Ryo chuckled, rolling his eyes. Ryo put on his headphones, grabbing his keys and walking toward the door.
“Actually, can you get me a protein bar?” Tsuneo asked. Ryo nodded,
“Yeah, what kind?” Ryo asked.
“In please.” Tsuneo asked. Ryo nodded,
“Alright, I’ll be back in like an hour.” Ryo said. Tsuneo lazily waved as Ryo closed the door behind him. Ryo walked down the dimly lit hall. He entered the stairwell, walking down the stairs. He exited the stairwell, walking down a concrete path outside on the campus. He would look at his phone putting a song on. He would inhale closing his eyes and exhale slowly. He’d open his eyes beginning to jog toward the exit of the campus. He’d hold his phone in his left hand while he jogged. Suddenly his phone started buzzing. He looked down seeing his got a text from one of his teammates at school.
“Espere, vamos correr juntos! (Wait up, lets run together!)” Ryo looked at his phone, sighing. Suddenly, a brazilian boy with a blonde tipped v hawk caught up to him.
“Ei. (Yo.)” Ryo said.
“Ei, Estou surpreso que você se levante tão cedo. (Hey, I’m surprised you get up so early.)” The boy said. IAGO JUSTO LACERDA, 16, Right Wing, 185cm, Yuguretaka Private High School Soccer Club.
“Eu sempre faço, saio correndo, pego algo na loja e me preparo para as aulas. (I always do, I go on a run, get something from the store then get ready for classes.)” Ryo said. Iago nodded,
“Entendo, eu sempre acordava tão cedo no Brasil. (I see, I would always get up this early in Brazil.)” Iago said. Ryo nodded. The two would start jogging together down the street. A few hours later, they’d walk into the school store. It was decorated very nicely, it looked like a small Whole Foods store. The two walked around the store. They walked into the drink aisle grabbing protein smoothies. They would then walk into the snack aisle. Ryo would grab an In chocolate protein bar.

“Tsuneo me pediu para pegar um para ele. (Tsuneo asked me to grab one for him.)” Ryo said.
“Entendo. (I see.)” Iago said. The two then walked over to the self checkout placing the items on the scanner. Ryo took out his phone, opening his school app.
“Como têm sido suas aulas de japonês até agora? (How have your Japanese classes been so far?)” Ryo asked. Iago chuckled awkwardly, scratching the back of his head,
“Se eu vou ser honesto, eles são muito difíceis. (If i’m gonna be honest, they’re pretty hard.)” Iago said. Ryo nodded,
“Faz sentido... (Makes sense…)” Ryo said. They purchased the items, walking out of the store. A few hours later, Ryo would be sitting in class eating his lunch. His school uniform was a black shirt with a white blazer over it and black slacks with dress shoes.
“Hey, Ryo.” Said a girls voice. Ryo raised a brow,
“I was hanging out with a friend this weekend and we went to this soccer game at her school.” The girl said. Ryo looked over, it was a girl with black hair and green eyes.
“Who’re you…?” Ryo asked. She looked at him annoyed,
“You know me, we’re in the same class.” She said.
“Doesnt mean I know who you are…” Ryo said. She sighed,
“It’s Aimie.” Aimie said. Ryo looked surprised for a second,
“You’re that biker girl, right?” Ryo asked. She looked annoyed again,
“Thats how you recognize me?” Aimie said. Ryo nodded,
“Anyways, the game was between Kakeru Sendaii and Asahi Gakuen.” Aimie said. Ryo raised a brow,
“Asahi Gakuen?” Ryo said. Aimie looked confused,
“What about them, do you know someone who goes there?” Aimie asked. Ryo nodded,
“Yeah, I have two old friends that go there.” Ryo said. She looked surprised,
“Doesnt your sister go there?” Aimie asked. Ryo nodded,
“Yeah…” Ryo said.
“Wait who did you say they were playing?” Ryo asked.
“Kakeru Sendaii.” Aimie said. Ryo looked surprised,
“Who won?” Ryo asked.
“Nobody, the game ended cause one of the Asahi defenders got a bad injury,” Aimie said. Ryo shrugged,
“Weird,” Ryo said. Meanwhile at Asahi Gakuen, Yuki and Masaki would be standing in the hall. Yuki would have a look of horror while Masaki looked surprised,
“It… It can’t be…!” Yuki said. Masaki nodded,
“No way…” Masaki said. A tall boy with sleepy eyes and long white hair stood there, wearing headphones on his neck, looking down at Yuki and Masaki.
“No way?” He asked.
“It’s you, you injured me back in middle school!” Yuki said. KEI YOSHIDA, 16, Asahi Gakuen 1st Year, No Club, (Note: Injured Yuki in junior high, making him quit soccer).
“I injured a lot of people back then… You aren’t sticking out…” Kei said.
“So, do you still play Soccer?” Yuki asked. Kei looked at Yuki for a second before shaking his head.
“No… Not really…” Kei said. Yuki smirked,
“Well… How about you join our soccer team and play as our new leftback?” Yuki asked.
“Nah, I’m alright.” Kei said, walking away. Yuki looked shocked,
“Maybe we shouldn’t look at someone in horror then give them an offer…” Masaki said. Yuki looked annoyed,
“Thanks for telling me that afterward…” Yuki said. Yuki looked at Kei walk away with worry.
“Hey, Masaki…” Yuki asked. Masaki looked confused,
“What’s up?” Masaki asked. Yuki scratched the back of his head,
“Is it just me… Or did he look kinda sad…?” Yuki asked. Masaki looked at Kei, walking down the hall in the distance.
“No… It’s not just you…” Masaki said.
