Dungeon's are considered malevolent entities. Mindless beings that spawn impossible and wondrous if confusing landscapes, and amass legions of monsters for seemingly the only purposes of self preservation and wanton destruction. What if a dungeon understood emotions, what if it possessed higher thought? After a botched ritual such a situation comes to pass, as this newly born grapples with a startling awareness and clarity of its existence that their kind have always lacked. Many opportunities and dangers await this anomaly.  ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This idea span from reading reincarnated as a dungeon stories and how most of them held onto a sense or feeling of humanity, The character Pan from The Bound Dungeon by Wires12 gave the feeling of moving passed that or embracing his new nature to me and that was a refreshing notion. The idea of this revolves around not a human overcoming or changing their nature but a dungeon gaining the intelligences and understanding of humans without becoming one in the process. I won't say the idea is new or ground-breaking but it's the one I want to write.
