To the Assembly of Nations, Conflict against the monsters has pushed humanity’s innovation into the age of magi-tech, and united under a single banner our species has survived and prevailed. However, even arming our non-magi soldiers with magica weapons has proven inadequate for pushing forward and expanding our borders against the footholds of our enemies. Decades of losing our men, women and children in endless battles has proven that the speed of our innovations and combat measures cannot keep up with the raw abilities of creatures that far surpass us in innate strength and magic. In centuries past, summoning a single hero has proven more than enough put an end to the threat of monsters by severing the heads of their Sovereigns. Yet they have still grown stronger over the decades, and now we find these creatures at our doorsteps, with our very way of life threatened. So, with the collective resources of all our countries, and the combined efforts of our mages and technologies, I believe that a solution to this blight can finally see the light of day.
