Synopsis
Saving the world should be everyone's highest priority, but everyone has goals and the slack can just be picked up by others. Right? Louis wanted to become a royal knight, but people in higher positions had other plans. He cannot be certain who thought the group he would end up with was had a good chance of saving the day and getting a parade. His future was beginning to look bleak. After all, Hero's don't have a good track record of getting happily ever afters.
This is a story that looks into some ideas of why common tropes from RPGs would be in place or the consequences of having them. It will not feature status windows despite being gamelit.
