Heather Matthews, a lonely autistic girl, and her cat, Nancy, run away from her troubled lifestyle to find a more peaceful one. They both encounter a strange airport, which takes them and several passengers---another lost girl and her dog, an embittered, entitled princess, a party girl, a young truant, and a terribly immature teenage soon-to-be-mother---to a place of paradise.......... Or, at least that was the plan, until the girls run into a Shemiah, a wicked island witch, and her monsters.  Will the girls ever find their way home, or will they remain forever in Shemiah's hands?
