— Goblins ahead! Don't let them get away! Surround them further on!
— Let's group them near the Shuk River.
An intense chase was taking place to the south of the Wizz forest, where Goblins and humans were fighting a fierce battle.
— Huzzah! We did it. You damned beasts! Surrender now and we won't hurt you.
The Wizz forest was well known to the human army, as it was part of the long lands to the south of the kingdom of Grishwolds. A dense forest with a mountainous terrain and many depressions. It was well studied by the humans for ambushes and surprise attacks on their enemies.
The Goblins, being very unstable beasts with little reasoning, advanced fiercely south of the human lands through the Logard Valley, from the country of Nevaron. But they were quickly surrounded on the large mountain where the Shuk River was located.
Even surrounded and outnumbered, the Goblins, with their enormous pride and impulsive temperament, did not surrender. They chose to fight. They would rather do that than submit to humans. They opposed them, turned towards the humans and got into battle position.
— Despicable beings...
A deep, gravelly voice came from the goblin army, a huge goblin emerged from the midst of his companions, with muscles that looked like rocks for their size and definition and with a huge club, a club almost his size, full of thorns and nails wrapped around it.
— You take advantage of numbers and cheap metal armor to fight, as if it were something honorable, you don't have the fighting spirit or the courage to face me on equal terms. If any of you weaklings manage to defeat me, you can do whatever you want to us.
The entire human squad was frightened, even though they were greater in number, no one would risk a fight with that giant creature, there was no chance of victory.
— I will...
A voice echoed from the human side, everyone was startled and quickly turned to see who it was. To the left of the army, a young man with a sword and armor and wearing a grizzly bear cloak volunteered.
— I'll, no problem, it's much better this way, the fewer people fighting the better.
The giant goblin looked the boy up and down, from the tip of his boot to his light brown hair. He couldn't resist and burst into laughter, even dropping his long club.
— Guffaw! Kid... that armor of yours won't withstand a blow from me, if you think that's going to ensure your victory, you'd better give up Guffaw!
After speaking, he laughed again.
As he drew his sword and removed his cloak for the confrontation, an elderly man quickly arrived at his side and spoke anxiously.
— NORK, No, you're not going to do that, it's too much even for you. We'll retreat the way we came, leave them here and come back tomorrow or the next day with a bigger army, they don't pose any danger.
— relax Skadi, everything will be fine, trust me.
Nork takes out his bear cape again and shows it to Skadi.

— You said the same thing about that grizzly bear in the forest of Furg and look where it ended up, on my majestic cape.
As he spoke, another gentleman arrived on the other side of Nork, this time more serious.
— Prince Nork, I understand that you love a battle, but don't forget that you have a family and are the king's successor. Imagine how your mother Gytha and the kingdom would feel if they found out that something bad had happened to you..
— Wise as ever, Bragi. There's no need to worry, I'll defeat this disgusting creature and we'll return home victorious and intact to eat that delicious pork stew with lots of barley and Mrs. Yior's mead. lol
Nork smiled as he walked towards the large goblin, who was already waiting for him.
“As long as I am under the protection of the great Goddess, I will be invisible to the eyes of evil, nothing bad will happen to me, my body will remain intact thanks to the great Goddess”. He thinks.
At last the two combatants were face to face.
The creature confidently approached the prince with its huge club under its left shoulder, a proud smile on his face.
— I thought they would send someone really good for me to fight, someone with a good physique, strong and experienced in battle. But look, they've sent a little girl in puberty to fight me Guffaw!
The creature keeps mocking Prince Nork.
— oh ugly beast, look here, I may be small, but I have twice your skill.
In one swift movement, Nork stoops down and takes a rune and a wolf's fur from his pocket. And whispers something.
— For the weak, sinful, insignificant, mortal man that I am, I bow down before you. By the power and grace of the Great Goddess, grant me the power to strike down the evil before me.
The big goblin, frightened by the scene in front of him, didn't know how to react.
— What the hell is that? An enchantment... an enchantment...
His eyes widened for a moment.
— Could it be... Gasp!
With a quick flick of his shoulders, the beast attacked the still crouching prince.
BOOM !!!
The impact on the ground was so intense that it created a huge cloud of dust.
Everyone thought the worst. In despair, Skadi put his hands on his head.
— No! No! No! No!
Bragi gritted his teeth and clenched his fists in anger.
— I knew it, that idiot! How am I going to explain this to the king!
But when the dust cleared, everyone was even more surprised. There was nothing there, Nork had dodged the blow.
— What an exaggeration huh, why all this lol. The fun will start now.
The young man was a little further to the left of where the goblin had attacked, with his sword in his right hand and a confident look and debauched smile.
But something strange happens.
Suddenly his eyes began to change, becoming narrow and pointed like an almond, and his outline became deeper and darker, his hair became more pointed and arched upwards.
Like a flash he lifts his sword and steps forward fearlessly to attack the goblin.
The beast takes two steps back and intercepts the attack by throwing its club forward. The sound of the weapons colliding was deafening. The impact was so intense that they both bounced backwards.
As soon as his feet hit the ground again, Nork leapt high into the air, even higher than the pine trees in Wizz's forest.
Everyone stared in shock at the boy in the sky, he looked like a bird, looking down from the floor.
While still in the air, above the trees, the young prince looks at everyone, all tiny on the ground, and thinks.
"Don't worry, guys. Look what I can do".
He turns upside down and begins to descend at an impressive speed towards his opponent, looking like an eagle soaring overhead.
Again, Skadi desperately puts his hands on his head.
— No! No! No! No!
Euphoric, Bragi taps his companion on the shoulder.
— Calm down, man! He knows what he's doing!
“I hope"
As he nears the ground, already at the height of the trees, Nork begins to spin uncontrollably around himself, like a tornado. Potentiating the damage of the attack, he tries to hit his opponent's head.
The goblin intercepts the sword with another quick flick of his hand before it hits his head.
Crunch!!!
The impact of the weapons was more intense than the previous attack. But this time Nork's opponent took the worst of it. His club was shattered into several pieces and thrown away.
The creature is brutally thrown backwards, hitting its back on a nearby tree.
— There is no doubt about it...cof...
Spitting blood, he stood up in a decadent manner, holding onto a low-hanging branch.
— You're blessed by the Goddess, aren't you?
With his sword over his right shoulder and his other hand on his hip, he smiles sarcastically and says.
— Ready for a second round? hehe.
