Monday mornings with no patients were heaven Xi Lanyon thought with sinking deeper into her warm comforter and dreaming about the novel which she read last night till 3 am. “What’s happening? Why has she not woken up yet?” The lady’s maid started changing towel to massage her body with a cold towel to decrease her temperature she was burning with fever after she was pushed into the river by her second sister

She thought that she was dead and imagined that she would have lots of food without getting fat but why was she able to hear voices. She felt very tired and her throat was also very dry.

She opened her eyes slowly and was able to see a thin girl massaging her toes with a cold towel, why is she so thin? Isn’t there any food here

She started seeing where she was, saw that everything was white, the bed in which she was laying, beside her bed there was a small wardrobe

Is this the place where she stays, my old poor hostel room was better than this. I don’t want to stay here

Now I was very sure that I have transmigrated into the novel where Xi Lanyon was the main villain of the novel who was raised by her step mother and father was treated badly and she was going to be engaged to the crown prince which her mother set up before dying. But the crown prince loved her younger sister Xi Raye because she was more prettier and gave all the gifts to her younger sister because she was younger than her. She was embarrassed because all the people made fun of her and thought that her younger sister will be a better queen that her.

Xi Lanyon was jealous of her younger sister after hearing what everyone used to say so she tried to push her younger sister in the pool when she was going to meet the crown prince so that she can meet him in front of all the people and tell people she is also good as her second sister. But unfortunately as she tried to push her younger sister she only fell in the pool and her younger sister met the crown prince

Even on her birthday her father convinced her to ask the emperor to raise her second sister’s title from concubine’s daughter to Princess Xi Raye. And during that party itself the crown prince announced his divorce with Xi Lanyon and wanted to marry his younger sister Xi Raye. But Xi Raye begged the crown prince to take Xi Lanyon as a concubine which made Xi think of her younger sister as an angel. Her father was the governor and currently handling all the finances for the imperial palace for the emperor. He was a corrupt governor and always wanted to rise high.

For her Father’s love she did many things like looking into the documents, tried to influence the crown price for a better position for his father which all made the crown prince angrier. And her second sister aka the empress always acted sweetly and asked her not to do these things.

Afterwards they treated her more as a prisoner she was treated as a maid for her second sister, where she was not fed properly and always used to take blame for her father’s faults and her second sister as an angel used to cover it up which was noticed by the crown prince and made him more angrier towards the villainess and sweeter towards her sister.

Afterwards she was made bled to death in front of the whole empire because she tried to kill her second sister aka the queen.

Thinking about the story made Xi Lanyon shiver she wanted a peaceful life; she was one of the famous Chinese doctors in a previous life who had to save so many lives where she did not even get time for herself.

Thinking back, she knew she wanted a peaceful life away from all this drama and live happily.
