Synopsis

May watches as Margery tends to her garden. Margery stops when Jeremy steps out to water his rock, inquiring yet again as to why he would do something so pointless. Jeremy puts on a friendly smile and shrugs before emptying his watering can on the mineral's cold, hard surface - just in time to head back inside before John waddled his way across the street. John instead approached Margery with an unnecessarily loud "Ahoy, Marge!", raising a telescope to his one good eye in what she could only assume to be an attempt to analyze her pores before continuing, "Ye'd ne'er guess wut I found out 'bout that Jim feller!" Marge's nose scrunched up slightly as several droplets of discolored saliva sprayed from the enthusiastic old man's mouth, reflexively running her hands along her otherwise perfect flower-patterned dress in an attempt to wipe it away before offering a preemptive response, "He's not building a bomb, John." "Ye-aup, he is, but I've known that for YE-EARS, what I foun' dout wuz..." John was quick to retort before seamlessly transitioning back a more updated form of nonsense. May, brushing back her hair and, with it, the key attached to her left hoop earring, causing it to swing wildly for a couple of seconds, "Okay, well, Y'all have fun." Then turned and left Margery to fend for herself. May returned to her house, leaning idly against her front door and staring directly across the street at Missy's colorful, well-managed home... whom no one had seen in years. May took a deep, thoughtful breath before closing her eyes and gently knocking the back of her head against the door, forcibly turning her attention elsewhere. Opening her eyes again and allowing them to wander, they settled on Jimmy, who was sandwiched between the homes of Missy and John, sitting on a dirty white tarp in his yard, meticulously and skillfully assembling what looks to be yet another motorbike.  Such an odd hobby, she thought to herself, nobody actually leaves. Then again... she shook her head, dismissing her thoughts and allowing her mind to wander back towards the debate between John and Margery, where she heard the former mention something about mutants and, of course, world domination. Oh well, anything is possible.
