Synopsis
THE WORLD IS GONE, AND WITH IT HUMANITY.
No one knows when it ended, no one knows how it ended. How eons upon eons of technological progress and transformation were wiped away in an instant. But they were, and now after the fall, the dwindling remnants of humanity survive in the city, the one place where they can find a respite from the vine. However, this utopia of theirs is flawed, and within the city, rival factions and groups bicker and fight against each other.
Robin is a survivor, one of the only men who's been able to make it without a group of his own, and he's been living on the edge of the city for years, fighting against The Sheriff, one of the tyrant rulers of the Skeleton Cities, and the self proclaimed Mayor of Elisium. However, all status quo is upended when Olivia, the leader of a small nomadic group attempts to take whatever food Robin has, and finds themselves instead wound up in his war.
With The Sheriff swearing to kill Olivia and her group, Robin promises to protect them. Yet as the fight the insurmountable odds, relationships form, and are strained as loyalties are tested, and it becomes clear that in the Skeleton Cities, there are no heroes. Only those who survived.

(Note currently on Hiatus, I had the bright idea to finish the book before I started posting it, so that's what I'm doing. It should be done by January but we'll see.)
