Synopsis
There's a veritable list of things one has to deal with, coming home after being away for a while. For Hapa, that's a tad bit magnified with the whole new body, strange skills, old traumas that she's gained during her journey through the realms of Akasha. Don't even get her started on gender.
Fortunately, her mother's quite supportive and accommodating, but the government is much less so. Not because of anything involving aliens and dissection tables, but more with the simple fact that her old identity has been proclaimed dead and there's a fair bit of paperwork involved in suddenly being alive. There's a surprisingly less bit of paperwork in faking her identity though.
Struggling to balance her instincts honed from surviving in another world and relearning the ins-and-outs of normalcy, Hapa's looking forward to relaxing in her attempts to re-acclimate to life on Earth.
Unfortunately, her sister, and indeed the world, seem determined to open up secrets long-buried.
