Warning this is a somewhat mature fiction, It can include stuff from Slavery, murder, gore, sex and more.     Fedor Kurenov a narcissistic, dutiful and honorable former soldier is kidnapped and shanghaied into becoming the ruler of an advanced space civilization that has been without a leader for two centuries. Why choose him a former soldier and someone unexperienced in the ways of politics and the other subjects needed to run a nation? Why that's because this civilization is a very advanced one, the military and other important services will only listen to commands from someone with the blood of the Druman ruling family coursing through they're veins, which happens to be something that Fedor has. Albeit from an ancestor that visited Earth 3 and a half centuries ago, but a small amount of blood is better than no blood.   We will see Fedor handle problems from arrogant neighboring space nations, pirates and corruption, but one of the biggest problems that Fedor has is the problem of Earth. Earth's only been able to colonise the Moon and Mars, even then the journey from Earth to Mars takes two week, the people of Earth haven't even left the solar system yet due to the fact that no FTL technologies have been discovered.   But the question is, what will Fedor do? He's the Grand Duke of the Grand Duchy of Vicia, an advanced space nation with the technology that Earth lacks and more. In fact technology-wise if you were to compare Earth and Vicia it'd be like comparing a cavemen to modern civilization. It's a conundrum, so what will Fedor do?
