The violent end for the king of a warring kingdom was only near as the hero was to ay his doors. The king's death wasn't met with eternal damnation or glory in an afterlife, but a reincarnation in a world much like his own just much more magical. Given this miraculous chance, he would again make his way up in the hierarchy just this time he would have experience of his past, however, he wasn't born in a kingdom but in a tribal society.
