The wheel of fate spins many yarns and gathers many destinies together, but few are as unpredictable as that of the young half elf Lasutro Arkon. When Lasutro is given a simple task to reduce an incurred family debt she accepts the task with indifference. Upon finishing their task she suddenly becomes the guardian of an ancient magical artifact and the target of nefarious forces.With apparent great powers seeking the artifact for selfish or even altruistic reasons. Lasutro is unable, even unwilling to determine each organization’s goals, and little to no power of their own.  Lasutro must make a choice to run and not look back or gain the tools to be the guardian she might be destined to be.
