Synopsis
Shayne and Ethan used to be good friends. They’d talk at school, hang out at home, and play small, playful pranks on each other. That was, however, until one of Shayne’s pranks went a little too far. Shayne underestimated how effective a simple realistic-snake-in-the-locker prank would be on someone with ophidiophobia, and it ended up leading to the death of one of Ethan’s friends. Ethan was, naturally, incredibly mad at Shayne, and the two stopped talking forever.
This continued until 5 years later. There was an annual senior camping trip on Halloween at Shayne’s school, and Shayne would finally get to go. A bunch of other seniors were also going, one of which was Ethan. Shayne still didn’t plan on interacting with Ethan at all, until a menacing note appeared in a card on Shayne’s 18th birthday.
“Congrats, you’re another year older! Be careful though, as it may be your last…”
Shayne mostly shrugged it off, but during the camping trip, more notes began to appear, each one hinting at Ethan’s ultimate plan. Shayne and his friend Vivian decide to go into the forest to investigate, but as they head back, a loud scream echoes through the forest, and they find blood on the ground. Ethan and the others then realize that this isn’t an ordinary camping trip… it’s a fight to defeat the events of the past.
