With nearly every other person being a returnee nowadays, stories around defeating demon kings, saving the world and getting the princess are numerous. Transmigration nearly seems desirable to society, with governments and individuals all endorsing and stating that their time abroad was desirable and helpful, granting the opportunity to build new, better versions of themselves. And sure, in some cases, that is indeed the truth.  As one of the few returnee-specialised psychologists, I deal with darker sides of the matter. My clients are those who travelled to the, well, less desirable worlds, experiencing situations that may only be deemed traumatic in nature. My job description is to assist their efforts to adapt back into society on earth, helping them each and every step of the way in their rehabilitation. But realistically, most of these people are all beyond help. May god have mercy on their souls.
