Here is a sketch and a watercolor painting of one of the monsters from the story. The pictures are of the chimera known as the Magdie, and each piece of artwork shows the monster in a different light. While both pictures show how scarily strong the monster is by casually carrying a fully armored warrior in its little forelimbs like it is nothing, one image has the monster screeching out its challenge. In contrast, the watercolor has the chimera casually nomming on its snack.
