Sorax and his sister grew up together. They were poor, living in the slums of New York. Their parents were abusive, and often used their powers against the two of them. Sorax had always taken the blunt of the abuse, taking his sisters hits, and his parent's blows. They lived in a fucked up world where powers dictated how important you were. People discriminated, and shapeshifters were looked down upon the most. Sadly Sorax was a shapeshifter, and a bad one at that. One day, something unexpected happened. Something bad. Bad enough that it left him and his sister with no home. Or parents.
