Machua's home City had fallen. The sky was a bright red and monsters were rampaging through the streets. All of this was done at the hands of the mysterious organisation known as Qliphoth. His attempts to save his City fell short, and he was left grievously wounded. His dear friend could only do one thing to try and fix all of this. She would regress Machua, so that he could change this timeline and change fate, just like the Regressor did to save the world from apocalypse. Machua was shuttled back through time, but found that he didn't regress properly. There was another Machua, who in this timeline, was born a woman. Now, he has to mentor his newfound self/little sister(?), adapt to all the changes in this timeline and give everyone the happiest ending!
