I'm an artist, not a writer, and I read a lot of manhwa, tons of it. Just wanted to emphasize I've *never* written a story before. However, I'm kinda sick of the same tropes I dislike seen everytime, such as the same kinds of male leads in otomes, and the speedrun power fantasies of the action ones. I wanted one to appeal to me, however, only very few did that and so I became arrogant and thought I could write a better story. I have never written fanfiction before, but I wanted to give storytelling a try. I have three goals i want to focus: Good true fantasy world building, fleshed out side characters (make them feel like theyre their own main characters with interests), and avoid common FL or power fantasy tropes but still write a strong FeMC who can fight. I want to point out I'm not good at naming, but I try my best to not make it sound cringy or edgy. I also want to focus on more doing than saying in meanings, though idk if i could follow through with that ALL the time. It was a shiny gem her father had given to her as a child, and something she kept close to her chest after many years, even refusing to pawn it off. Before she bled out, she yearned to go back so desperately, knowing how wrong she was, and the necklace shined. Lida woke up feeling dizzy, her body much more healthy. Feeling euphoria, she discovered she only came back a few months before she being removed from the household. Desperate to not lead that same life again, she stormed to the training grounds." I wanted to make a female lead that is capable of standing on her own with strength she can comfortably call her own. (i wanna add some male leads too, but theyre not important right now). I don't really know what I'm doing, so i appreciate criticism. I feel the first chapt is pretty weak, tho im doing it for fun. I probably plan to rewrite the first chapter after some criticism or rethinking how I want to restructure it.
