Synopsis
Regbi, a failed shaman turned thief, finds more than she bargained for when she sneaks into a mysterious shaman's ger on her latest heist. Regbi quickly finds that breaking in is easier than breaking out when the shaman in question decides to take Regbi on as his apprentice -- a role Regbi had sworn to leave in the past after a failed shamanic initiation that left her spirit in tatters.
Will Regbi be able to undo the damage and piece her spirit back together? Or will the life she fell into catch up to her before she can seize a second chance?
This is a short story that takes place in a fantasy Mongolian/Siberian setting with Soviet undertones.
