Mysterious disappearances have been occurring in the small town of Laval. Supposedly, they're all connected to a mirror. When the town alights with the news of yet another missing person, Elle is shocked that so many of her classmates believe in the supernatural tales surrounding the circumstances, and vows to prove them wrong.  She fails.
