Synopsis
They said Survival Craft was too hard, too punishing, and completing unforgiving for new players.
Mark Johnson, the lead developer, saw that as a badge of honor.
But when a late-night coding session ends with a heart attack, Mark doesn’t just die, he wakes up in Survival Craft.
Not at level 50, not with a god-tier loadout, but as a level 1 survivor armed with nothing more than a rusty knife and a head full of patch notes.
Everything he designed is real. And Mark is painfully under-leveled for the nightmares that follow..
“Working as intended” hits different when you’re the one dodging undead and scavenging for scraps just to survive.
Now, Mark’s only goal is to outsmart the world he created and reach the only ending.
He’s starting to think maybe those players on the forums were right.
