When three of their fellow officers go missing in the ancient woods of Yera, five brave fellow officers go searching after them... directly disobeying command. It quickly becomes apparent to the five that not all is what meets the eye in these old woods... Setting off to find something they'd never expect, smart but awkward David Crass, the giant and fierce Lyial of Terin, the young tracker Feanias Erron, the brilliant conjuror Simmeon de Graf, and the young Lord Reiner Kron will have to think on their feet to avoid certain doom. Along the way their oathes to eachother will be tested as they meet old, and new, enemies... The purpose of this is to find whether or not there is any interest in this project of mine. It is one book comprised of three parts, the first of which is entirely finished. I will be periodically releasing chapters here to see if there is any interest generated in the story, or if there is any feedback other aspiring authors might have to give. It'll start with the first two chapters, and in the next few days I'll slowly add more (especially if this goes well!).
