Synopsis

No one knows how large the Endless World really is, and it keeps growing every time one of the Powers creates and inserts another Realmcore. Each of those Realmcores controls a tiny or not-so-tiny area of the world and can increase it, pushing the other areas further away and increasing the size of the changing Endless World.   Sometimes such an area can also crumble away when the core responsible for it is destroyed – especially in a fight between Powers, because each Realmcore gives an energy tribute to the Power that created or compelled it.   That energy could be used for anything – if not for the [[System]] that restricts all magic to certain forms and enforces classes. This is done to prevent the primordial energy from unraveling existence itself. And for this reason a lot of the Powers look outside the Endless World for souls and spirits to inhabit their realmcores – because only under an incomplete or lesser System some spirits can gain traits and abilities that are not allowed under the more restrictive System of the Endless World. This would allow those spirits to be more powerful than regular spirits that were born or created under the restrictions of the [[System]]. Salengor the Magnificent is one of those Powers – or he was before he was betrayed by his allies. All of his Realms and Realmcores were destroyed by the Holy Alliance of Light, one of several groups of Powers that try to enforce some rules and laws among them.   Barely escaping with his essence intact and without any active Realmcore left to replenish his energies, his only chance is to go really far beyond all known borders. To seek a very unique soul to activate his last dormant Realmcore to new heights of power. Only with unique and extreme traits that spirit would be able to keep his last Realmcore intact and growing against all opposition, until Salengor can syphon enough energy to reclaim what he lost to the betrayal.   And that plan could have worked – if not for a tiny, little misunderstanding when he finally found what he was looking for…   This story uses a number of different concepts and rules than those common to other ‘Dungeon Core’, ‘Reincarnation’ or ‘Isekai’ stories. You’ll quickly learn most of the differences when reading the story.  The common “tutorial time” will mostly be skipped in this story, there are already more than enough stories dragging out how long it takes to create the first room. There is no need for me to write about that again. Because of this there will be a time skip after the basic setup is complete (The story is written up to that time skip).   This is not one of my main stories, I wrote the first eight chapters more to test if the concept can work. Updates will depend on the interest it generates and what ideas I might have to continue this story.
