I find it strange when I experience two emotions at once, especially two conflicting emotions if that is even possible. On one hand, I am bored out of my mind since I currently possess an unmovable body. The only thing stimulating my mind is this low resolution blue vision and my own delusional mind. On the other hand, I’m excited at the prospect of being able to move and do stuff! But I’ll have to settle with eating the mystery that is on top of me.
A mystery no more ‘Open Stocktake Loot!’
Well what did I expect? So far being flooded with information has been a staple of this ‘Advanced UI System’. I immediately get another headache as I tweak the options present, limiting the search area to the mystery directly on top of me and summarising the objects into categories. I am left with:

My first thought was ‘Oh it’s a junk yard’ and I was about to eat it…
I soon discovered that I had no sense of taste... no, not in that sense. I’ll rephrase: I literally had no taste buds to taste with. This means I may never be able to taste for the rest of my life. The future looks bleak.
I also eat slowly. I assume the speed at which I eat is directly linked to cell manipulation. That will change in time, perhaps at max level I would be so acidic that anything I touch vaporises? Hehehe, That would be cool.
Now, before I take a look at the ‘pass time’ option I better understand this world’s dating system. This is where ‘Open Calendar’ is valuable.
Oh this is simple! Appears one year in this world is 402 days. One year is divided into four seasons. That is summer, autumn, winter and spring. Summer and winter have 100 days while autumn and spring have 101 days.
I guess I’ll have to change my way of thinking from months to seasons. The calendar does not tell me how many hours are there in a day but it does have a handy note taking system for scheduling purposes.
I set ‘Pass Time’ to divide time into days and summarise the outcome of each days. I propose to eat the pile of junk on top of me which is accepted by ‘pass time’. I then set it to eat only the pile in such a way that the pile does not collapse. To only eat the pile of junk until it reaches a height of two metres, to help avoid suspicion in case there are people. Finally to notify me of new items in the pile so I can choose what to eat and what to put into my inventory.
I obviously choose to put the three coppers in my inventory; when it reaches me on the bottom in 5 days.

I expand the organic list of items. I see most of it is mush and liquid that has settled on the bottom of the pile and on top of me. The rest is rotten fruit, vegetables and five rat corpses. Rats, huh, I guess they are eating off the rubbish here.
I wonder how exactly eating matter will help me. The slime description only said that consuming physical objects makes slimes like me stronger. So I’ll make a comparison with my current status.

(A/N: These are really ambiguous values so you cannot really trust them. Especially since this is a fantasy. Example: a random pebble could turn out to be a philosopher’s stone or a piece of a powerful stone monster.)
Oh, I almost doubled the number of cells I originally had. Maybe this will not be as difficult as I first thought, although I may regret thinking that.

Even though I have gained 647 cells there hasn’t been much improvement in my statistics. I’ve only gained 0.65 in nucleus health and 6.47 in mana, nothing else has improved. I sigh inwardly as I know it will take month… I mean seasons to gain a major change in my situation.
I do take note though that I’ve only ate the minor items listed on the ‘stocktake loot’ option. So I hope these thoughts are immature.
