Ever been frustrated over Rem's fate in canon Re:Zero? Started watching season 3 of the anime and disappointed that Rem is still in a coma?  This story is a Subaru self-insert (SI) into the world of Re:Zero. MC enters Lugunica on the equivalent of episode 16 in the anime, right before giving Rem the 'run away with me speech'. We follow a Subaru who will actually treat Rem first and foremost. Honestly, I wrote this because I was dissatisfied with the current state of Re:Zero fanfiction. Rem is one of the most popular anime characters of all time, and yet there are no good fanfictions featuring her as the female lead! Well, that's the goal of this project. This story also references a type of CYOA (Choose your own adventure) called the Waifu Catalogue; the link and lore of which can be given upon request.
