Kron Bvaerin is the greatest dwarven conqueror-king to have ever lived. He is 'beloved' by dwarves all over Estalon and despised by all others. It is with great relief and trepidation that, as he becomes Diminished, the darkest age in the history of Estalon seems to be coming to an end. He has crushed the continent beneath his hammer, and soon the continent will be free of his yoke. Yet before he is even returned to the earth, his empire begins to crumble. The corrupt lesser Krons who serve him break the First Oath, and the war they bring to the continent threatens to destroy everything he has spent his long life building up. At the end of it all, without the strength to stop them himself, he is presented with a choice. He can choose to redeem his soul, rebuild the dwarves and prevent the many great tragedies that have plagued his people and all Estalon, or die in infamy as the world burns. An easy choice, but one with a problem. He will not be the one to do it, or even live to see it realized.   Re: Dwarf is a tale of heroism and redemption in what is an admittedly dark world. The main hero will not rise to unimaginable power like you might expect from the classic power fantasy, nor will he have the perfect information of history and events you might expect from a ‘reincarnated’ story. At its heart, this story will be an epic fantasy with beloved characters and a gritty but believable plot.
