In a world of Kingdoms, Magic, Monsters, and heroes, corruption creeps through the narrative of fates woven by the primordials, crawls through the cracks in the cosmos and pries them ajar. The being in charge of maintaining it obviously isn't very pleased. Thus, a new saga begins. An artificial soul, crafted with some help from the divines, is set adrift into the aforementioned world, and thus David comes to be. A hero in the making.  His will be a life of might, magic, and far too much divine interference for his own good. Be it dark gods and goddesses, seeking to push him off the path he, unwittingly, walks, or the others, trying to subtly keep him on that path, and push him in whichever direction serves their agenda. The question is, what will be his fate? How will he change? Will he fulfill his purpose? Will he be hero or tyrant? Become a servant of a god, or become a god? How far must he go, to fulfill his goals?
