Hundreds of years in the future, there is a major war ravaging between two great nations. In a dropship that got shot down, an injured battle android crawls out of the ashes to find himself surrounded by the wreckage and remains of his fallen comrades and squadmates. His underlying will to survive is challenged by his injuries and his logical understanding of his purpose, as he faces the choice between letting himself die or finding the will to live.
