Synopsis
Richter Kamelford is a 14-year-old teenage boy. By the cruel will of fate, he was different. During the military occupation of the city, his family was branded with a disgraceful mark of "not like the others", which caused him to lose his neighbors, his friends, and eventually his parents. Under gunfire, he manages to escape the city with his younger sister Sally and a small group of "different" people. During their journey to safety, they encounter the cruelty of the outside world. Childrens' lives are threatened by everything: soldiers, city dwellers, even nature. Circumstances force them to adapt quickly. Richter, burdened with responsibility on his shoulders, will have to grow up quickly and start making adult decisions to protect his last relative. The question is, how far will he have to go before the outside world can leave them alone?
So, this is my first serious novel ever. I am determined to finish it.
In addition I want to say — I am not a native English speaker, so please point out any mistakes you find in my text.
I use a translation program to accelerate writing process and still, it takes time to edit it later.
About release schedule, let's say I will post every two months.
The word count is probably going to vary, because I don't know where the story will bring me.
