From the beginning of time, some souls have been too big for one person. They had to be shared, a magical bonding that was necessary for survival. For the Poten, the magical beings that could manipulate the energy around them, it was their Protectors with whom they shared their powerful souls. And with the Protectors, it was the Poten.    Ajax is a Protector. His whole life is dedicated to keeping his Poten safe. Problem is, his Poten is a little different from the others.     And Sam, the aforementioned Poten, has been stolen out of his world and forced into a world of magic and evil and war. With a prewritten destiny, and an amount of confusion that probably would shock you, Sam, Ajax, and a powerfully irritated Poten named Maura, have to save their world and the next. It should be a wild ride.
