Transmigrated into the future, Felix is forced out of his comfy life into a matriarchal society where not everything is as it seems. His body is broken, and has been broken here for as long as it has been alive. Words whispered in corners that don't make sense.  Will Felix be able to get his wits about him in time to find out what lurks just out of sight?  Or will he be devoured whole before he can learn to stand on his feet? --- This is a submission for the Community Magazine Contest.
