Try something of the infinite catalogue.
It’s when you publish half of your Material.
Take for example, you create 2 Chapter per Week, so you upload 1 Chapter every Week.
This will give a bit of a rough start, but after doing it for some time you backlog should be big enough to not scare you for a Time.
It gives the benefits of:
1. Able to engage with your readership and community about the story you create. Maybe somebody finds a mayor flaw in your Story, so he points it out and instead of fixing it around the time your backlog catches up. You could instead just update it right there and then, as you backlog early is not that big.
2. The bigger your Story becomes, the less influence does somebody of your readership has on it. You won't be able to change something in the middle of the Story if it has already come that far. So, having a big backlog won't have any problems on it.
3. Trough such a huge backlog, you could use your Time, to engage the Book into different aspects and instead of trying to bring the Story forward you could try to play around the aspects of hiding easter eggs and secrets.
4. You can engage with your community a bunch when your Story has reached a sizable junk of people.
5. It's scaling and will always be scaling with you, your pace and how much or how long you have been ad it.
6. You notice in benefit 5 that it scales with you... to define, you could write 2 Chapters a week and publish 1. Or write 6 Chapters a week and publish 3. So, your emotions and excitement can scale on the current you. For example, you wrote 6 Chapter now you are all hyped up, so you set you upload schedule to 3 this week with a side note of your excitement, it lets you engage more and let it be more focused. Instead of leaving the viewership in the dark about your Situation. Second example BAD, you don't write a Chapter... so you take a break, in that moment you also don’t upload any backlog or chapter, to show your current situation. It all helps in immersing in a Story and making a good Story writer not you know, write himself to death.

7. With such a Backlog your Patreon Post will be ... amazing to say the least, you could make something of a Post every day, but I would recommend posting 2/3 of your chapters. That where your odd numbers come into play. If you have 3 Chapters, then you upload 1 Live 2 on Patreon and keep a Backlog of 3.
8. Now I gave you so many benefits of this Strategy, now what are the Downsides???
Downsides: (I wish I knew them but let’s try.)
1. It's a Live recap of your Situation trough such an Upload schedule, so things Like motivation and Viewership attention could be screwed with, as you upload kinda trough whim and not on a constant and smooth basis. That Week 3 now only 1 then 10 now 5 now 10 again now 0 now 0 again. You can see how it can screw with some. That don't quite care about you and more about your Story.
2. You finish Stories so much faster than its allowed too. Take for example... Your exponential growth we could take Mathematic into the concept but... Your Story will be finished by the time you have uploaded half of the Story... So yeah... (WAIT YOU COULD REMAKE YOUR END XD LIKE IF YOU ARE DESPERATE)
3. Your Patreon my feel scammed, as you haven't uploaded your whole backlog. Making them feel as if you are playing with them or something like that.
4. I have no Fucking Idea too much thinking in this one Let’s finish this.
